Annually at Easter the family of Hector and Della Latremouille meet in Little Fort for a family reunion.

This reunion was originally started by Blanche (Latremouille) Hansen, and was taken over by Barb and Hector Denton after her passing.

Those attending have travelled from Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, St. Albert, Alberta, and Toronto, Ontario.   The family rents the Little Fort Community Hall for a pot luck dinner the Saturday before Easter.  One of the family’s favorite things is to go to the Little Fort Cemetery and do the spring cleanup.  While there the children are introduced to their heritage and family roots.

They also love the wonderful ball diamond on the community hall grounds and form teams for a competitive ball game with all ages – four years through 80 years – ending with a bonfire and hot dog roast at the Denton’s.
