May I Be Frank to show at Willow Point Hall in Campbell River

The award winning film: “May I Be Frank?” will be shown on Friday, March 15, at Willow Pt. Hall with a live Skype Q & A with Frank himself following the movie presentation.

The movie documents the transformation of Frank Ferrante, who is  a 54 year old Sicilian from Brooklyn living in San Francisco. Frank is a lover of life, good food, beautiful women, and a good laugh. He is also overweight, drug addicted, estranged from his daughter, and struggling with depression. When he stumbles into Café Gratitude, a local Californian restaurant, he has no idea that he is embarking on a transformative journey which will affect the lives of countless others.  Through Frank’s story of love, redemption, and transformation, viewers witness the power of change for themselves and for the world. This film illustrates the essence of the human condition, and what it means to fall in love again. Doors open at 6:30, film starts at 7 p.m., with a live Skype Q & A discussion with Frank Ferrante following. Refreshments are available, entry by donation.
