McLure Recreation Association’s January report

Reported that CN will be going ‘whistle free’ at the railway crossing by the McLure Fire Hall

The McLure Volunteer Fire Department and Recreation Association meeting was held on Jan. 7, 2015, with six members present.

It was reported that CN will be going ‘whistle free’ at the railway crossing by the fire hall and Carl’s Market Fruit Stand.  It was also reported that CN will first be installing wire fencing along the railway track area to keep people and animals off the track.

There will be a painting work bee upstairs in the fire hall on Feb. 17, at 8 a.m.

The next meeting of the association will be on Feb. 4, 7:30 p.m. at the McLure Cafe.
