Maximize value for the hard-earned vacation time and money by a new way to travel and sightsee, the AirCruise.
“The Mauiva AirCruise is transforming the American road trip,” said Lauren Volcheff, vice-president of marketing, travel holdings. “No endless hours on the road. No bad directions. No struggling with luggage or packing up the car. Millions of travellers tour the U.S. every year, but most are not aware of the significant amount of time they spend getting there, only to rush through the attractions they went on vacation to see.”
The experience has guests enjoy the comforts of private air travel and conveniences of pre-arranged guided tours in each locale.
With the unveiling of the two inaugural itineraries this summer — All-American East Experience and Western Wonder Experience — road-weary travellers are finally able to relax when visiting North America’s most picturesque and symbolic landscapes. Showing the true value of the AirCruise, travellers can expect to save 23 to 37 hours in travel time compared to a traditional road trip visiting the same destinations.
The east experience takes travellers on a trip for a five nights and six full days visiting the American and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls, Toronto and Niagara on the Lake, Hershey Chocolate Factory in Hershey, Pa, Amish country in Lancaster, Pa, Washington, DC and Mt. Vernon. The other experience travels the west and southwest for six nights and seven full days stopping at Monterey and Carmel, Calif, San Francisco, Sausalito, Muir Woods and Sonoma County, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon.
The AirCruise comprehensive package includes escorted group travel, all transportation via a private plane and coaches for destinations within 144 kilometres of each other, attractions and local tour guides, accommodations at first-class, branded hotels, daily breakfast and dinner, as well as gratuities and porterage.
In 2012, the concept will be extended to include European attractions.
“Because Mauiva AirCruise utilizes private aircraft and airports, guests not only save time in transit but also avoid the long lines and crowds of harried travellers associated with commercial airports,” said Volcheff. “Mauiva AirCruises allow guests to see and do more at a price point that is the same as, or even lower, than the average coach tour or independent fly and drive.”
