New hoodies just in time for Spring

The Barriere Elementary (BES) grade 7 class are shown wearing their new purple school hoodies.  The students are now preparing for their Arts For Others event at the school on Apr. 28. The event will begin at 4-4:30 p.m. with a barbecue outside the school, then will move indoors for the Arts for Others part of the evening; featuring dessert and coffee, a performance by the school Strings and BES Got Talent, and of course numerous handmade pieces of art offered for sale by the students.  At a later date the grade 7 class will be holding a car wash for their final fund raiser towards attending Eagle Resort in the Shuswap in June.
