Okanagan College holds convocation

More than 300 Okanagan College students, including four from Summerland, graduated on Saturday.

The Winter Convocation ceremony was the first of the year for the college.

Students from Arts, Business, Computer Science, Engineering Technologies, Health and Social Development and Science received their credentials.

A total of 54 Bachelor’s degrees, 18 associate degrees, 201 diplomas and 37 certificates were presented.

The larger graduation ceremony will be held in June as the college marks Trades Commencement, Spring Convocation, Vernon Convocation and Summer Convocation in separate events.

Last year, more than 2,000 students graduated from the college.
