Well known photographer John Gordon is presenting “Where to bird in the Lower Mainland” at Kwantlen Polytechnic University Langley campus on Monday, March 27 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The talk is part of the Third Age of Learning program (TALK) which provides those 50-years-old and over with creative and stimulating educational activities.
Gordon, a retired photojournalist formerly with the Langley Times, took up birding in a big way and is part of the Langley Field Naturalists.
He has documented the beauty of birds in their natural settings all over the world and especially here in the Lower Mainland.
The talk, which includes a fast moving slide presentation, may be of interest to those who are just beginning birding, as well as to those interested in learning more about some the many great birding locations in the Lower Mainland.
Non-birders are most welcome to attend.
