RESULTS Vernon meets

MP Colin Mayes is guest speaker at this month's meeting of RESULTS Vernon on Nov. 12

Join RESULTS Vernon for an education and action meeting on Nov. 12, and learn about global development issues. Join in working together to create the political will to end the worst aspects of poverty, and prevent more needless deaths and suffering.

MP Colin Mayes will attend the November meeting at the Vernon library and give a talk about “The importance of citizen engagement in a democratic society.”

Mayes has two children working in international development and has a deep understanding of the issues that RESULTS Vernon is facing.

“We are working to developing our ability to influence parliament,” said Leo Young, with RESULTS Vernon. “This unique experience will see parliament come to us. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of the solution.”
