Riders invited to find the golden horseshoe

Timber Ridge Trails in Lumby is the place to be for the Second Annual Poker Ride on Sept. 14

Saddle up your horse and join your fellow riders Saturday for the Second Annual Poker Ride at Timber Ridge Trails in Lumby.

And if you find the golden horseshoe, you win a special prize.

There are two rides: a five-hour ride starting at 10 a.m. and a two-hour ride beginning at noon. Trails are well-marked and maps will be provided on site.

Registration is open from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Entry fee is $15 per rider, and includes one poker hand (extras at $5 each). There will be a fabulous food concession on site. Awards and prizes will be handed out at 3 p.m.

This fundraising event is hosted by the BC Interior Morgan Horse Club but is open to all breeds.
