Vernon library hosts book club

Adults who love to read are invited to join the new book club at the Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library

Patrick DeWitt’s best-seller, The Sisters Brothers, is the topic for the first meeting of the Vernon Branch Library Adult Book Club.

Meeting the fourth Saturday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the club’s first meeting is Sept. 22.

“We are excited to announce our first adult book club, and we invite you to read the suggested titles and to join us for a lively, facilitated discussion of the featured title,” said Maureen Curry, Vernon branch head librarian.

The club meets in the library meeting room and is open to all interested adults — pre-registration is not required.

The library is at 2800-30th Ave., downtown Vernon. For more information, please call 250-542-7610.
