The next Winter Farmer’s Market at the Barriere and District Seniors Hall on Barriere Town Road will happen this Saturday, Jan. 21. The next one after that will be on Feb. 4.
At the Feb. 4 market, one of the tables will include the Senior’s Ladies who will be fundraising by selling fresh, homemade turkey pot pies. The ladies will not only be selling them at the market, but will also be taking advance orders from those who don’t want to miss enjoying these delicious pies. The pot pies will be selling for $3.50 each, or three for $10. If you want to order ahead call Lora Lee at 250-672-2443, and let her know how many you’ll be wanting.
At every Farmer’s Market you will always find vendors selling vegetables, soap, wood crafts, and much more. Be sure to drop in at the Winter Farmer’s Market, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and mark your calendars for all the upcoming dates: Jan. 21, Feb. 4 and 18, Mar. 4 and 18, and Apr. 1.
