A man charged with sexual offences involving a teen girl pleaded guilty Feb. 5 in Abbotsford provincial court.
Andrew Theodore Dennis, 31, was arrested last March and charged with sexual assault and two counts each of invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference and communicating via a computer to lure a child.
He pleaded guilty to the luring charge and to one count of sexual assault, and the remaining charges are expected to be stayed.
Dennis’ next court appearance is slated for May 5, when a pre-sentence report and psychological report will be presented.
Following his arrest, police alleged that Dennis had befriended the victim via social networking sites before making contact in person.
The crimes occurred from 2007 to 2009, and no further details have been released.
