A worker helping to construct the new Aldergrove pool was airlifted to hospital on Saturday, after falling nearly 20 feet into a hole.

The incident, taking place around 2:30 p.m. on May 13 at 270 Street and Fraser Highway, caused serious injuries to the worker.

A technical rescue was performed using an aerial ladder, ropes and a basket.
