The public is invited to help the City of Armstrong with its newest community park.
A public input session regarding Huculak Park will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the park site which is located off Patterson Avenue, adjacent to 2845 Patterson Avenue.
Look for the balloons and two tents set up for shade.
If the weather does not co-operate, the public meeting will be moved to city hall.
Consultant Christina Walkden will make a presentation complete with story boards about the park, and will facilitate input for opportunities for development of the site.
Representatives from environmental consultant Trumbley Environmental will be on hand to answer questions about the riparian area setback, and confirm the city’s goals for improving the setback over time to impact Meighan Creek in a positive way.
The meeting is expected to wrap up before 9 p.m.
