Kyra Hogan sings Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah for her Grand Forks’ Best Singer contest audition on Aug. 8 while event producer Vern Gorham looks on. The contest will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at Grand Forks Secondary School’s auditorium. The winner will also sing the national anthem at the Grand Forks International baseball tournament opening ceremony a few days later.
