It’s another trip to the Tim Hortons Brier for John Morris, Jim Cotter, Tyrel Griffith and Rick Sawatsky.
The Vernon-Kelowna-Chestermere, Alta. rink won the belairdirect B.C. Men’s Curling Championship in Abbotsford Sunday, defeating Dean Joanisse of Mape Ridge 6-3 in the final.
The Morris rink now heads to the Brier in St. John’s, NL.
For Cotter and Sawatsky of Vernon, and Kelowna’s Griffith, it’s their fourth consecutive provincial title.
Morris, from Chestermere, will be appearing in his fifth consecutive Brier and 10th overall.
