Black Press is at it again, setting its sails for another Extreme Career Fair in the Courtenay, Comox region of Vancouver Island.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, the Black Press Extreme Career Fair docks in the Comox Valley. The Florence Filberg Centre and Native Sons Hall will be transformed into Vancouver Island’s largest, multi-faceted career exposition, with more than 80 exhibitors show casing who they are and why they want you!
Extreme Career Fairs are engaging for all; whether you are seeking employment, currently employed and considering a career change, or unsure as to where you want to be in five years, the Black Press Extreme Career Fair will have something to pique your interest.
Organizers are expecting 5,000 to 8,000 attendees, from Nanaimo to Port Hardy and west to Port Alberni including local students, grads, unemployed and new career searchers looking for a better or new opportunity.
From employers to post-secondary and industry training booths, there will be a variety of exhibitors offering opportunities in employment, education, and skills upgrading.
Quality Foods, Island Health, Marine Harvest, Canadian Tire and Home Depot to list a few are among the dozens of top level employers that will be on hand.
