Nanaimo police have ruled out foul play in the death of a woman Monday.
The woman’s body was found by a hiker in Pipers Lagoon Park at about 5:45 p.m.
The north Nanaimo park was closed for several hours while RCMP investigators and the B.C. Coroners Service examined the scene.
The victim’s family has been notified and the investigation is being turned over to the coroners service.
