Fire crews extinguished a fire in the rear brakes of a trailer on Tuesday morning on Sumas Way, across the road from Bakerview Eco Dairy.
The trailer was carrying the same load of plastic recycling that spilled across the highway three days ago.
Emergency personnel briefly blocked the southbound right lane on Sumas Way, at Barrons Way, to attend to the trailer fire.
The driver was unharmed. The cause of the fire is unknown.
