Crews are currently onsite repairing a water main break at 39th Street and 22nd Avenue in Vernon.
There are about 40 homes out of water and Okanagan Avenue at 39th Street is closed at this time.
“Crews have responded quickly to isolate the break and are actively working to repair the water main,” said Zee Marcolin, Greater Vernon Water manager.
“The cause of the break is not known and further information will be provided if any further action is needed by residents or businesses in the area.”
