Canadian Sheep Classic held in North Thompson Agriplex

All Canada Sheep Classic Show and Sale was held at the Agriplex in Barriere

The ultimate honour of being named Canada’s Supreme Champion Ram went to Todd TK 49Z, owned by Hugh Todd (pictured to left of pic) of Todd Sheep Company Inc., from Lucknow, Ontario.  The ram was then sold in the auction the following day bringing a solid price of $1,800.  High seller of the sale was a Suffolk ram that sold for $3,400. The All Canada Sheep Classic Show and Sale was held at the North Thompson Agriplex in Barriere, on June 27-30.  Over 350 head of sheep, representing over 60 breeders from as far away as Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island congregated at the facility to compete for the National Championship titles and to market their top breeding stock.
