Leading up to the May 14 provincial election, the Castlegar News along with other local media reps will join members of the public for an All Candidates Forum, Tuesday, May 7 at the Sandman Inn, 1944 Columbia Avenue.
Scheduled to run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce-hosted event will furnish Kootenay West candidates with the opportunity to get their messages out, as well as allowing questions from citizens and media.
As per standard forum format, the event will open with each candidate having two minutes to outline their platform. A time for alternating questions from the public and the media will then run until the candidates wrap things up with one-minute closing statements.
The time and place for the Chamber of Commerce All Candidates Forum, once again: 7-9 p.m.,Tuesday, May 7 at the Sandman Inn, 1944 Columbia Avenue.
