Armstrong: Three people facing charges after store was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday morning

Just after midnight Tuesday, a woman entered 7-Eleven, produced a knife, and stole an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise. She then fled in a car.

RCMP located a vehicle matching the description witnesses provided, and arrested the one female and two male occupants.

“Quick action by our officers, and cooperation from witnesses and the public, allows us to seek out and arrest those in our community that are causing harm, as was the case in this incident,” said RCMP Staff Sgt Cam Percy.

Angelina Donatucci-Urlacher, 26, is facing charges of robbery, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, disguise with intent, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Daine Vollmin, 24, is facing charges of robbery and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

Matthew Roy, 26, is facing charges of robbery, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and breach of a probation order.

All three were slated to appear in Vernon Provincial Court Wednesday.

Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP, meanwhile, continue to look for a man who robbed Dollar Tree in Vernon shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.

The man produced a knife, stated “this is a robbery” and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store.

The suspect is described as five-foot-eight, wearing dark pants, white running shoes, a blue jacket, black toque and was wearing gloves.
