On Jan. 17 CityWest employees (L-R) Scott Simpson, Haley Hues, Donova Dias, Noelle Lindstrom, Bart Kuutz, and ChrisArmstrong were at the Houston Community Hall to celebrate their official launch in Houston. The doors were open from11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for residents to ask questions, sign up, and compare their internet and telephone service prices. By 3p.m. over 60 residents had stopped by, and a number of them signing up with CityWest. To date, CityWest has invested over $750,000 in its Houston expansion, and the company plans to expand into another area of Houston by 2018. The total estimated investment into the community is over $1 million. “It’s pretty exciting for our community. There is a fair portion of the community already on board. They are planning to be here for a while to form a long lasting relationship with the community,” commented Shane Brienen, Mayor of Houston.
