Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the North Okanagan as of 4 p.m. Sunday.
An Arctic front across the Central Interior this evening will continue to push southward crossing the Southern Interior tonight.
As the front passes, northerly winds will increase and many areas will see a period of snow and blowing snow.
In the wake of the front, cold air will settle in place and temperatures are expected to sit five to 10 degrees below seasonal normals before warming up later this week.
