The District of Coldstream has a new treasurer.
Patricia Higgins will begin duties as director of financial administration Jan. 13, 2014.
“I am pleased to have Ms. Higgins join our management group,” said Trevor Seibel, chief administrative officer.
“She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the district and I look forward to working with her.”
Higgins comes to Coldstream with 22 years of municipal experience, including more than eight years as a senior financial manager. She was most recently the director of finance in Williams Lake.
Higgins takes over from Seibel, who was director of financial administration prior to being named CAO after Michael Stamhuis retired.
