A passenger sustained injuries in a collision between an SUV and a semi where Highway 11 and Sumas Way meet.
Abbotsford Police Department Const. Ian MacDonald said they received the call around 11 a.m. on Thursday.
He said a passenger in the SUV may have a broken leg, but the injuries are non-life-threatening.
Both of the drivers are reported to be “shaken but uninjured,” said MacDonald.
The passenger was brought to hospital by ambulance.
Police are diverting traffic at the site and may remain there for some time.
