The B.C. Conservatives have formed a public finance committee.
Scott Anderson, Vernon-Monashee candidate, has been named as committee chairperson.
“Among other topics, this inaugural committee will look at why B.C.’s debt has doubled under the NDP, and then doubled again under the B.C. Liberals, and why it has been so difficult for either of the old-guard parties to balance the budget,” said John Cummins, party leader.
Cummins says the committee will examine proposals to incorporate into the party’s election platform.
