Coroner identifies Vernon man

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who was found unresponsive in Vernon Feb. 27

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who was found unresponsive in Vernon Feb. 27.

He was Michael William Steward Kalinouski, aged 36, of Vernon.

Kalinouski was found unresponsive along a trail near Okanagan Avenue. He could not be resuscitated.

The B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate this death.

Foul play has now been ruled out.
