In the Nov. 17 edition of the Chronicle it was reported (Chemainus Visitors Centre in new location, Page 10) that Destinations BC had eliminated funding for visitors centres in B.C., including the Chemainus Visitors Centre. In fact, Destination BC continues to provide founding provincially, and the Chemainus Visitor Centre has received $20,688 per year from Destination BC since 2012. They received this amount in fiscal 2015 and will continue to do so through 2018. Our apologies for the error.
