There was an error in the historical piece on the 49th Parallel Grocery that appeared on Page 24 of the Dec. 6 paper.
Instead of “In 1966, Arvo offered to buy the store from his mother…” it should have stated, “In 1966, Arvo, who already owned a 25-per-cent share in the business, offered to buy the rest of the 49th from his mother, but she refused.”
