A man and woman both aged 30, riding a Can AM 800 ATV yellow in color are overdue from their excursion into the Lake County backcountry.
They were supposed to return to a residence on Middle Bench Road in Oyama Thursday and they are
both apparently unfamiliar with the area.
Search and rescue and the RCMP helicopter have been called out to assist in the search, according to Kelowna RCMP.
Vernon RCMP have also been notified as they appeared to be headed in a northerly direction.
