Salmo RCMP are investigating reports of compromised credit cards from local financial institutions.
If you’ve been a victim of credit card fraud, report it both to your bank and police, Cpl. Riordan Bellman said in anew release.
“Financial institutions may alert local police of current issues of fraud but do not divulge the names of those affected to police so it is incumbent on each individual to call local police and provide details,” he said.
