A man and woman used stolen credit cards a few hours after a vehicle break-in at the Langley Events Centre on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
A liquor store security camera recorded the pair as they put $700 worth of booze on the ill-gotten plastic.
After reporting the theft of her ID and cards, the vehicle owner was contacted by Mastercard because someone attempted to use one of her cards to make a purchase at the liquor store in Langley.
When the credit card company refused to approve the purchase, the culprits used one of the woman’s other cards and the transaction was approved for nearly $700.
A third credit card was used later that day at a clothing store for over $600.
Police are asking the public to carefully review the photographs and call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 if the people can be identified.
