The City of Campbell River has again awarded a three-year contract for Spirit Square event planning and management to local businessman Jim Creighton.
“Since 2010, Jim has kept this venue a safe and secure cultural gathering place for our community,” says Ross Milnthorp, the City’s general manager of parks, recreation and culture. “Thanks to his dedication and expertise, Spirit Square is the place to be for a variety of activities that promote diversity, artistic expression, and help raise the profile of a number of community groups.”
The contract is valued at up to $54,000 for the 2014 season and includes the costs of advertising, programming, rentals and managerial fee.
