Creston RCMP responded to 58 calls for service from Jan. 9-15, Const. Dan Cameron said on Monday.
January 14
•A female has fingered her grandson as the likely culprit in the theft of a bottle of vodka from an Eighth Avenue South residence.
•911 was accidentally dialed on a cellphone, police were told.
January 15
•When a patrol officer observed a driver making an illegal turn in a vehicle without a headlight on Valleyview Drive, he stopped the vehicle and found the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver got a 24-hour driving prohibition and a ticket for making the illegal turn.
•A tenant complained that a landlord was doing his laundry and planning to bathe at his residence. The landlord said he had issued the appropriate visitation notice and was conducting checks on the property’s plumbing system. Police concluded this is a civil dispute.
