Creston RCMP responded to 57 calls for service from Jan. 16-22, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on Jan 23.

January 22

•A window and mirror were smashed on a vehicle on 33rd Avenue South. No theft occurred.

•A female on Eighth Avenue South reported that identification and bank cards were missing from her purse after she left a friend’s home.

•An intoxicated male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 1000 block of Northwest Boulevard and taken to hospital to be checked before he spent in the night in police cells.

•No one was home when police responded to a 911 call from a Riley Road residence.

•A 911 call from the Corn Creek Road area on a deactivated phone could not be traced to the source.

•Police were called to a Highway 3 residence where a deer was caught in a fence. The deer was gone when they arrived, but the fence was damaged.
