Creston RCMP responded to 58 calls for service from Jan. 9-15, Const. Dan Cameron said on Monday.

January 9

•A Century Elite Adventure baby stroller was found and turned in to the police station. It can be claimed the owner.

•Two youths have been banned from the premises for two years after shoplifting chocolate bars and a watch from a Cook Street business.

•The owner of a found cellphone was located and the phone was returned.

•Police were once again involved in an ongoing dispute between two young women over a boyfriend.

•A semi reported to be driving erratically on Highway 3 near Kootenay Pass could not be located. Information was passed on to Cranbrook RCMP as the vehicle was eastbound.

•An abandoned 911 cellphone call from the Johnson Road area could not be connected to an emergency.

•When police arrived at a Yahk residence after getting a complaint from a female that a male was causing damage, no one was home and an investigation did not reveal damage.
