Crime Stoppers is asking the public’s assistance in locating the following individuals who are wanted on warrants as of Aug. 30

James John Jackson is wanted for suspension of parole. Jackson is described as a 29-year-old Caucasian male, five-foot-11, 181 pounds, with blonde hair and  blue eyes.

Chyanne Tigner Taskila is wanted for assault causing bodily harm and failing to attend court. Taskila is described as an 18-year-old Native female, five-foot-eight, 129 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Bryan Alexander Valencia is wanted for mischief under $5,000. Valencia is described as a 24-year-old Latin American male, five-foot-five, 129 pounds, with brown hair and  brown eyes.

Crime of the week

On Aug. 28 between the hours of 1:30 and 3 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way through the back door of the K-Cafe in Keremeos. The culprits stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the restaurant. Keremeos RCMP are asking any witnesses to this incident to call the Keremeos RCMP detachment at 250-499-5511, or if you would like to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at  www.southokanagancrimestoppers.ca.
