The former executive director of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce has been arrested for the third time.
David Hull was arrested on Monday, Sept.12 for breach of his release conditions, stemming from an assault charge back in May.
According to police, Hull was allegedly contacting the victim of the assault, using electronic devices.
Hull was originally charged with assault after his arrest on May 28. On that date, police received a report from a 35-year-old woman that an assault had taken place.
Hull was again arrested on June 24 after a man reported to the front counter of the Abbotsford Police Department, saying he had received text messages and emails that were of concern. Hull was charged with criminal harassment.
“This is the second breach of his release conditions,” said Const. Ian MacDonald of the Abbotsford Police Department.
Hull went before a judge and has again been released, under the same conditions.
On June 5, the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce announced in a press release that Hull was being suspended without pay, but did not provide further explanation. On June 23, Hull tendered his resignation to the chamber, of which he had been executive director since 2005.
