Eve Dedrick of Aldergrove and her Connemara gelding “Harris” won the PNE’s Indoor Eventing Derby Championship on Friday, Sept. 4 during the final evening performance in the Agrodome.
It was a three-day long competition with day one consisting of dressage, day two an indoor cross country jumping course and day three a stadium jumping course.
There were two judges for the events and Dedrick and Harris sat in first place from day one and were the only competitors in two divisions to jump with clear rounds in all phases.
This spring Harris was also awarded the title of Canadian Champion Connemara Pony by the Canadian Connemara Pony Society.
