More than 100 people from all walks of life came together Tuesday at the Abbotsford Islamic Centre during a vigil to remember those killed earlier this week in a terrorist attack in Quebec City.
The vigil is being held at the mosque, at 1980 Salton Road, between 4 and 6 p.m.
Many people have left flowers and signed a book of condolences. Messages left with bouquets of flowers offer support and friendship to the local Muslim community.
Local politicians, including Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun, along with Police Chief Bob Rich were among the dignitaries at the vigil.
