Drugs seized during police investigation

On Feb. 12, Vernon RCMP officers pulled over a vehicle on 35th Street.

A Vernon man is facing charges related to an alleged drug operation.

On Feb. 12, RCMP officers pulled over a vehicle on 35th Street.

“A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of numerous drug trafficking related items including methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine all packaged for street level sale,” said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy, with the Vernon detachment.

A 37-year-old Vernon man was arrested and released from custody for a future court date.

He will face three charges of possession of controlled substance for purpose of trafficking and motor vehicle offences.
