A City of Vernon employee is being recognized for his dedication to promoting economic growth.
Kevin Poole, economic development manager, has received the 2015 chairman’s award from the B.C. Economic Development Association.
It is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to BCEDA, the profession and economic development throughout B.C.
“It is an honour to be recognized by the BCEDA,” said Poole.
“I’ve been involved in the association since I began my career in economic development and served for numerous years on the board of directors, including chairing the organization from 2009 to 2011. I have learned a tremendous amount from my peers during this time and truly appreciate receiving this award.”
