North Okanagan-Shuswap residents will have a number of opportunities to hear from the candidates prior to the Oct. 19 federal election.
A forum will be held at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.
Donations will be accepted for the Vernon Performing Arts Society’s children’s theatre fund, which provided tickets to local families otherwise unable to attend performances.
On Sept. 24, an environmental forum will be held by the Sustainable Environmental Network Society at 7 p.m. at the Schubert Centre.
All-candidate forums are also anticipated to be held in Armstrong, Lumby and Enderby leading up to the federal election.
