The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has scheduled public meetings for its south-end area to gather information about individual communities and their surrounding areas.
This information will help develop Community Capacity Response Checklists for use during emergency responses and evacuations. Checklists are expected to be completed in advance of the upcoming wildfire season.
Individuals and community organizations are encouraged to participate.
Meeting schedule
• Forest Grove Community Hall: Feb. 8, 5-8 p.m.
• Lac la Hache Community Hall: Feb. 9, 6-8 p.m.
• Deka Lake Fire Hall: Feb. 11, 2-4 p.m.
• Lone Butte Community Hall: Feb. 11, 9 a.m.-noon
• 108 Mile Community Centre: Feb. 13, 5-8 p.m.
