The Grand Forks Gazette launched a new online community calendar this week. Here is a sample of things going on around town.
Saturday, Feb. 18
-There will be two showings of the Rivers’ Edge Theatre’s presentation of Toad of Toad Hall. One showing will be at 2 p.m. while the other will be at 7:30 p.m. Both shows will be at Grand Forks Secondary School’s (GFSS) auditorium. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and $40 for a family of four.
-Speaking of GFSS, the graduating class will present a borscht and pie feed at the USCC Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission for people 10 years and up is $12; for children aged seven to 10 years is $6 and people under six years get in for free.
Sunday, Feb. 19
A Basic Drawing Techniques workshop will be held at Gallery 2 in Grand Forks from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with instructor Wanda Hecht.
