A truck driver had her licence suspended after driving her trailer unit into a rock face near Rock Creek.
At 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 15, Midway RCMP, Emergency Health Services (EHS) and Boundary Rescue responded to a single semi tractor trailer that had driven off the road on Highway 3, about three kilometres west of Rock Creek.
The driver said she had been reaching for something inside her vehicle when the truck drove off the road and into the rock face.
She was examined by EHS and released but was also issued with a three-day immediate road side prohibition due to alcohol and served with a violation ticket for the incident.
