The Funtastic Sports Society has elected a new board of directors for 2012/13.
The 12-member board represents a cross-section of the regions business and non-profit community.
“This year’s board members come from a range of organizations and backgrounds, but all are committed to sharing their knowledge,” said Brett Kirkpatrick, who is serving his third term as president.
“I have no doubt that this diversity and rich experience will help to strengthen the society’s positive impact on the community throughout the year.”
The Funtastic Sports Society hosts Canada`s largest slowpitch tournament and music festival with more than 4,500 attendees from across Western Canada.
