Nominations are currently being sought for the JCI Vernon Good Citizen of the year award.
“The ideal candidate is someone who has made a great contribution to the community,” said Angel Schulz, committee co-chairperson.
“This is a great opportunity to recognize individuals that often go unnrecognized for their efforts to help others and their community,” added Shayna Henderson, committee co-chairperson.
The deadline for nominations is Jan. 11.
